Caldera has released a beta version of the DOS-based World Wide Web browser:
The WebSpyder
This is a special pre-release version of Caldera WebSpyder. Caldera has
provided us with this release to make it available to the readers of the
OpenDOS and DJGPP mailing lists. We ask that if you are not a subscriber
to any of those that you do not download this special pre-release.
Below you will find links to the Caldera WebSpyder binary distribution packages.
Both archives are encrypted with a password given below: web1-hqsjnsannj
Archives have been created using the PKSFX software and to extract the files properly you have to invoke them as shown below:
This will unpack the archive and unscramble the data.your_distribution.exe -s<password>
Make sure to read the readme.txt files from the distributions prior to installing the
software.
Enjoy the Caldera WebSpyder and, as always, let us know about your impressions! |
